Learning and Living at Home

At St. Peter's Church of England Junior School, we strive for all our children to 'Learn and Live - Life in all its Fullness', even in the event of remote learning.  To support this vision, we have created a robust remote learning plan.

DB Primary - keeping us connected

Our home learning is set on DB Primary - a platform that enables us to stay connected as a class and school community with special features including mail, our school blog and community pages.  We encourage the children to share their home learning achievements via DB Primary with a wide range of presentation options available, including photo uploads, word documents and presentations.  Once children have uploaded their work, teachers will provide feedback through online stickers and written comments.  DB Primary also features online games and activities to further support and motivate learning.  Our class pages will be regularly updated with motivational messages and alternative ideas to support home learning.

Keeping Safe Online

DB Primary allows children to connect with one another in a safe, secure space.  During the event of remote learning, keeping in contact with others and being part of a community is really important to us.  To keep ourselves safe online, DB Primary also features activities and resources to help teach e-safety and digital citizenship.
