Having said that, they're not the sort of year group to let the rain get in the way of having lots of fun and learning new skills. The first part of the trip involved learning Viking battle moves, exploring Ufton Court's magnificent Tudor mansion and taking part in a 'Thing' - a Viking trial! Fortunately, we all survived the battle and, gruesome as it looks, everyone was still innocent and free after the trial- even those who'd had their lungs removed as a punishment!
