🍽️ Welcome to Our New Catering Team – Chartwells!

We are delighted to welcome Chartwells as our new school catering team at St Peter’s Junior School.

Over the summer, we have also had a brand-new kitchen installed, giving our catering team a fantastic new space in which to prepare and cook fresh, tasty meals for our children every day.

Chartwells are passionate about providing nutritious, balanced and enjoyable meals for children, with menus offering a variety of choices to suit different tastes and dietary requirements.

School Meals – £3.20 per day

The cost of a school meal is £3.20 per child, per day.

Parents and carers can order and pay for school meals through SCOPAY. Please make sure meals are ordered in advance so that our catering team knows exactly what is required each day.

We are really excited about this new chapter for school meals at St Peter’s and look forward to seeing our children enjoying delicious lunches prepared in our wonderful new kitchen.

🍎 Could your child be entitled to Free School Meals?

From September 2026, all pupils from families receiving Universal Credit will be entitled to Free School Meals, alongside families who qualify through the other existing benefits.

We would encourage eligible families to apply, even if their child does not intend to have a school meal every day, as registering for Free School Meals can also provide additional funding to support your child’s education.
