Rocking out with Year 3 in the Stone Age!
Stone Age humans had a lot to deal with - animal skins for clothing, learning about the mysteries of fire and, apparently, GIANT HUMPHREYS!
Year 3 are having a ball (not literally- they hadn't been invented yet) exploring the beginnings of their Stone Age topic, and Humphrey has joined in too, although we did have to explain the concept of the Flintstones to the children which made us feel rather old!
So far this morning, Year 3 have enjoyed exploring and creating cave paintings and have spent time discovering which foods might have been available as winter approached for those early humans. A great start to their learning with lots of curiosity sparked!
