St Peter and our Value of Collaboration
Join us for our next Bible Story: ‘Peter Speaks to the People’ and ‘The Believers Share’, found in Acts 2. As members of St. Peter’s School, we can take great inspiration from the life and work of St. Peter. Why do you think Jesus chose Peter to speak to the people? Why was collaboration such an important value for Peter and the believers? In the book of Acts, Peter brings the people together through his teachings about Jesus. In 1 Peter 4:10, Peter also tells us that ‘God has shown you his grace in giving you different gifts’. Think about your unique skills, qualities and talents. What ‘gifts’ do you bring to our community? We all have unique ‘gifts’ and when we bring all our different gifts together, we can achieve so much more. We invite you to create and decorate a paperchain as you reflect on this.
