St. Peter and our Value of Responsibility
Join us for our next assembly as we think about St. Peter and our Value of Responsibility. As part of our story, ‘Peter Leaves Jail’, we invite you to reflect on your roles and responsibilities. What lessons can we learn from each of the characters in this story? How do they model our Value of Responsibility?
In our chosen story Peter is released from jail by an angel: ‘A light shined in the room. The angel touched Peter on the side and woke him up. The angel said, “Hurry! Get up!” And the chains fell off Peter’s hands’ (Acts 12:7).
‘Every day is a new Opportunity’ and ‘With Freedom comes Responsibility’. Think about these messages as you draw/decorate an angel and write a prayer. How can you make the most of each day? What roles do you play? How do you model our Value of Responsibility?
