Visit to The Gambia - Day One
Mrs Carr and Miss Reece have arrived safely in The Gambia, West Africa. This afternoon, they received a warm welcome from the Scout band at Kaira Konko Scout Lodge and Centre. This included a special performance of the Gambian National Anthem, followed by some dancing. As a mark of respect, they also visited the village Alkalo, where they were formally welcomed to Soma.
