Next week, we will be hosting our 'house biscuit sale', helping to raise funds for the house project in The Gambia, West Africa. Thank you to our kitchen team for making all the biscuits - such a lovely example for our Value of Service and a wonderful example of our community in action.
Each week, we encourage the children to reflect on their 'life in all fullness' achievements. What are you most proud of and why? Which of our values have you shown and how? This week, we are feeling proud of the writing outcomes on display in our classrooms - a lovely example of our Value of Celebration.
In our year group assemblies this week, we have invited our children to reflect on 'what makes a house a home?' - with the launch of a fundraising appeal to re-build a family home in The Gambia, West Africa. We invite the children to consider ways they might be able to raise a little money at home to help support this home, badly destroyed by recent rains.
At St. Peter’s Church of England Junior School, we strive to create opportunities for our children to learn and live 'Life in all its Fullness' with pupil voice and student leadership at the very heart. We are excited to announce a new role available to our children at lunchtimes - introducing our Play Leaders! Applications are now open - please visit our Child Leadership page for more information!
