A joy to welcome local, elderly residents for an Easter Afternoon Tea. Our school choir performed two songs and took great care in looking after our special guests. Easter gift bags, created by every child in the school, were distributed and warmly received. A lovely example of our Value of Service.
Thank you to St. Peter’s Church for leading us in an Easter Prayer Space. Each prayer station enabled the children to experience the Easter story in a fun and creative way. A lovely time of reflection and togetherness.
Year 4 have enjoyed a ‘life in all fullness’ historical adventure at Hooke Court this week. This morning they made and sailed their very own Viking Longboats. They have lived out our Value of Collaboration, modeling excellent team work in every activity.
This afternoon, the children experienced Viking weaving and jewellery making - made all the more special in the Viking roundhouse at Hooke Court. This evening, they re-enacted a Viking wedding ceremony!
Our children are enjoying a ‘life in all fullness’ adventure at Hooke Court in Dorset. This morning, they experienced life in the Viking times through a range of engaging activities, including Wattle and Daub structures, Viking cooking and stories about invasion.
Year 4 have arrived safely at Hooke Court in Dorset. This afternoon, they enjoyed their first activity - working together to build dens. A great example of our Value of Collaboration.
As we celebrate British Science Week, we’re proud to showcase this beautiful artwork created by our Year 5 children. Their striking designs imagine and depict scenes in space, as inspired by other contemporary artists, who share a love of space exploration.
Today saw our launch of British Science Week, which aims to celebrate the diversity of people and careers in science and engineering. In support of this, every child visited our very own Science Fair, led by representatives from the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Congratulations to our girl’s football team for playing in the Hampshire County Finals - we are so proud of you! The girl’s achieved an incredible third place in the Championship round!
