  • Farnborough Frost Fair

    Thank you to our school choir for their uplifting performance at the Farnborough Frost Fair. Humphrey, our school dog, also came along to support the children! 

  • NSPCC Assembly

    All pupils learn how to keep themselves safe, including online and when out in the community” (Ofsted inspection report, 2022).

     

    Yesterday, the NSPCC led an assembly for our Year 5/6 children. Humphrey, our school dog, enjoyed meeting Buddy - the star mascot of NSPCC's Speak Out Stay Safe assemblies.

  • School Garden Project

    We really value the support of our local councillors, Mara and Callum. Today, we discussed plans for a new garden, designed by Alan Titchmarsh. The design features our historic plaque - a unique part of our Manor House history.

  • Celebration of Learning

    This half term, our children in Years 3 and 4 have enjoyed the opportunity to showcase their history learning through their writing. 


    Year 3 have produced diaries based on the book 'Stone Age Boy' while Year have created letters related to the book 'Arthur and the Golden Rope' linked to their Anglo Saxon project.

  • Calculation Policy - Addition

    We are busy developing a new calculation policy to support teaching of maths and home learning. You can download a copy of our addition policy, which can be found on the mathematics page of our website, under the curriculum tab.
     

    Our addition policy demonstrates steps in learning, including concrete, pictorial and abstract examples. 

  • Year 6 Yoga

    As part of our PE curriculum, we aim to develop positive connections to movement. Inspired by this vision, Year 6 are enjoying their Yoga lessons!
