Thank you to Salesian College for hosting a wonderful evening of astronomy as part of our Ogden Trust partnership. A magical experience for our Year 5 children, including star-gazing through telescopes, a pop-up planetarium and craft activities.
Humphrey, our School Dog, makes a huge difference to life in school. We love his new conversation cards, which encourage children to identify and talk about their feelings.
This week, Year 6 experienced a class train trip from Farnborough North to Reading Station. As part of their visit, the children practiced real life skills, such as reading timetables, purchasing tickets and understanding safety measures. The children were also joined by Humphrey, our school dog! Thank you to the South East Communities Rail Partnership for the opportunity.

Today, our school choir performed these uplifting words at the O2 Arena as part of the Young Voices concert—joining together as one choir with up to 8,000 other children!
This half term sees the next chapter of our ‘Life in all Fullness’ curriculum adventures! Each class features a project display, which showcases the driving question and subject vocabulary.

The new term means new text drivers for every year group! This half term, Year 3 are reading 'The Firework-Maker's Daughter' by Philip Pullman, while Year 4 journey with 'Odd and the Frost Giants' by Neil Gaiman. Year 5 are embarking on a journey of discovery as they read 'Wonder' by R.J. Palacio and Year 6 are connecting with nature through 'The Lost Words' by Robert Macfarlane.
This term, as we embrace the start of a new year, our assembly theme is ‘Be the Change’. As part of our time together, we are taking great inspiration from the words of Mother Theresa - “do small things with great love”.
Year 3 enjoyed their first day back at school today, with a hook day to introduce their new topic 'Are all volcanoes the same?' The children had to create a volcano, as part of a group, before unleashing an eruption! Please visit our Twitter page to watch a video.
