  • Pentecost Celebration

    As part of their RE learning, Year 5 have decorated the entrance to St. Peter’s Church - in time for Pentecost. The children have created a warm welcome with their colourful bunting, depicting a wide range of world flags. A wonderful celebration for Pentecost - of the breadth of the global Church and the diversity of our school family. 

     

    This half term in RE, Year 5 have been exploring: how did the Church begin and where is it now? With the help of our friends from St. Peter’s Church, the children have learnt about Christian worship in South Korea and Indonesia, developing their understanding of Christianity as a global faith.
