  • Christmas Joy

    Christmas Joy brought to our church school community.
     

    Over lunchtime today, we joined the ‘Meet and Eat’ group at St Peter’s Church. The gift bags, lovingly made by every child, were received with genuine happiness. Our children’s gifts included handmade cards, jars, bookmarks and crackers - a lovely example of our special partnership.

  • Christmas Service

    Thank you to our children for their leadership of our Christmas Service, retelling the beautiful story ‘A Night the Stars Danced for Joy’. Each year group shared an artistic offering, enriched by the whole school singing together. Lovely to be surrounded by our families with time to reflect on the Advent candles of Hope, Love, Joy and Peace.

    Thank you to our school cooks for a fun and festive Christmas lunch today. We loved your outfits and the Christmas themed puddings! Thank you for making us ‘food to flourish’ all year round.

    We are proud to be a school at the heart of our community, including recent and upcoming performances at St Peter’s Church, local care homes and to other community groups. As a church school, we aim to shine the light of the Advent candles: Hope, Love, Joy and Peace.

    As part of our Christmas Pause Day, every class spent time reflecting and responding to the beautiful book ‘A Night the Stars Danced for Joy’. Our prayer tree features our children’s heartfelt wishes for our world this Christmas time.

    Our staff and governors had the great honour of leading Father Christmas round the streets of Farnborough on behalf of Farnborough Rotary Club - collecting for local charities and bringing joy to young and old.

    Thank you to our Eco Council for making and selling handmade crafts at our Christmas Fair. Thank you to our Year 6 volunteers for their leadership of the games, bringing joy to all.

    Thank you for a fun-filled, festive day! Lovely to see so many people at our Christmas Fair, including crafts, games, gifts, refreshments and Humphrey, our school dog, merchandise! Thank you to our school choir for their lovely performance and to Father Christmas, who also came to join us!
