Thank you to our school choir for representing our school so beautifully at the Young Voices concert at the O2 Arena! Performing as part of the largest children’s choir concerts in the world, the children sang their hearts out and made us proud. Thank you to all the staff for enabling this event to happen.
Introducing this beautifully striking artwork, created by Year 3. Their vibrant landscapes were made in the style of Austrian artist & architect, Friedensreich Hundertwasser. A wonderful example of our Value of Celebration.
Year 5 shared their lunchtime with the ‘meet and eat’ group at St Peter’s Church. They enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate their learning with elderly members of our community, bringing smiles all around. A lovely example of our church school vision, ‘life in all its fullness’.
This half term, Year 3 are discovering: how are volcanoes life changing? At the start of this project, the children made volcanoes using everyday materials, before ‘erupting’ them on the playground. They are showing great enjoyment for their new topic!
Thank you and congratulations to all our children for their role in raising this incredible amount of money. A lovely example of our Value of Collaboration; working together to raise funds for the Phyllis Tuckwell hospice within our local area.
This half term, Year 4 are considering: how do trade links between the Ivory Coast and UK impact economic growth? At the launch of this project, the children enjoyed an African drumming and workshop. This authentic experience has enthused their learning!
