A joy to welcome the St Peter’s Church mission team, who recently returned from Tanzania. As part of their trip, they delivered postcards made by our children. They were a welcome surprise for the children of Shekinah School, who returned some beautiful cards for us to enjoy. A lovely example of our vision in action - for all members of our local and global community.
Inspired by our church school vision, some of our Year 4 children joined the ‘meet & eat’ group at St Peter’s Church over lunchtime. A lovely buzz of conversation as young and old shared their school-based stories, bringing awe and laughter.
Introducing our brand new Reading Challenge - READOPOLY! Children can earn points for both themselves and their class by completing a range of tasks and challenges. All points will be converted into certificates and prizes!
This half term, Year 3 are embarking on a geographical adventure as they consider: how can I learn to live my best journey? Meanwhile, Year 4 are voyaging back to the Anglo Saxon times as they discover: what makes someone a great person?
Today marks Roald Dahl Story Day. To celebrate our favourite Roald Dahl stories and characters, our school librarian has created this special display. We love the golden ticket decorations!
A wonderful day - welcoming Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) into school! Every child enjoyed the opportunity to visit the aeroplane, while learning about this life-changing mission project. MAF uses aviation to bring help, hope and healing to people living in the most remote places.
This week, every child had their official school photograph taken. Humphrey, our school dog, also enjoyed his photo - doesn’t he look smart!
This half term, our upper school children are embarking on a geographical adventure! As they learn about natural resources, Year 5 are considering: what makes someone an earth hero? Meanwhile, as they explore the UK, Year 6 are contemplating: what makes a warm welcome?
