The last of our Christmas gift bags have now been delivered, with smiles all around! Inspired by our Christmas Pause Day text ‘Refuge’, each gift was carefully designed and handmade to bring love, hope and joy. Every act of kindness makes a difference - and our children have seen this at first hand through the delivery of their thoughtful gifts and festive songs. We are proud to be a school in our community.
This afternoon, a team of staff and children began to deliver our Christmas gift bags, as an offering of our love and hope to local residents. The children’s handmade gifts and doorstop songs brought lovely smiles and surprise, with the joyful repetition of “you’ve made my day”.
As part of our Christmas Pause Day, every child made an item, designed to bring love and joy to our local community. Year 3 decorated the bags, while Year 4 designed the beautiful cards. Year 5 created the lanterns while Year 6 crafted messages of hope. All gifted together with delicious shortbread, made by our School Council.
Thank you to our wonderful kitchen team for an amazing Christmas lunch! Made with love and enjoyed by everyone, including Humphrey, our school dog! Joined by our Chair of Governors and some elves from St. Peter’s Church, it was a fun-filled, festive time for all - Merry Christmas!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The wreath is on the door, the postbox is at the ready and a heartwarming fireplace awaits us! Our beautiful Manor House, decorated for Christmas.
Thank you St. Peter’s Church for leading our Christingle Service; a joyful celebration made all the more special with Christingles made by every child. Each candle was lit as the children sang together, spreading a magical glow of light, love and hope.
Proud to support the Rushmoor Christmas Tree Festival with our Christmas Tree entry, with decorations made by every child, and a special performance led by our school choir. A lovely example of our Value of Collaboration.
