This afternoon, the children experienced Viking weaving and jewellery making - made all the more special in the Viking roundhouse at Hooke Court. This evening, they re-enacted a Viking wedding ceremony!
Our children are enjoying a ‘life in all fullness’ adventure at Hooke Court in Dorset. This morning, they experienced life in the Viking times through a range of engaging activities, including Wattle and Daub structures, Viking cooking and stories about invasion.
Year 4 have arrived safely at Hooke Court in Dorset. This afternoon, they enjoyed their first activity - working together to build dens. A great example of our Value of Collaboration.
As we celebrate British Science Week, we’re proud to showcase this beautiful artwork created by our Year 5 children. Their striking designs imagine and depict scenes in space, as inspired by other contemporary artists, who share a love of space exploration.
Today saw our launch of British Science Week, which aims to celebrate the diversity of people and careers in science and engineering. In support of this, every child visited our very own Science Fair, led by representatives from the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Year 5 enjoyed a fun afternoon in the velodrome - cycling and the team swing! This evening, they embraced the egg drop challenge, where they were tasked to build a contraption to safely transport a water balloon from the roof to the ground, without it popping!
