  • Easter Holiday Challenge Five

    Fri 10 Apr 2020

As a family, read the words of the ‘Jelly Bean Prayer’ as we reflect on the true meaning of Easter this weekend.  You might like to buy some Easter ‘Jelly Babies Chicks’ as you reflect on the words together.  As you read the poem, think about the meaning of each colour and make some family pledges in connection to each verse.  As an extension task, you might like to make an Easter Tree table decoration – you might have small branches available in the garden, ready to place in a vase and accessorize with homemade Easter decorations and family reflections.

  • Easter Holiday Challenge Four

    Thu 09 Apr 2020

Download the ‘Action for Happiness’ calendar and catch up on all the actions as a family!  We invite you to decorate a ‘Happy Jar’ and fill it with positive thoughts each day, including - things to feel grateful for, things that have made you smile and things to look forward to.

  • Easter Holiday Challenge Three

    Wed 08 Apr 2020

Create an Easter Garden using natural materials and other resources from your house and garden.  You might like to lead the Easter collective worship session as a family (a copy can be found under the ‘Letters’ tab) and consider how you might represent key events from the Easter story through your garden design.  These are the Easter gardens made in school today, accompanied by a thoughtful prayer for others this Easter time.  Our slideshow also features some of the gardens that have been made at home.

  • Easter Holiday Challenge Two

    Tue 07 Apr 2020

We invite you to create a rainbow – ready to display for the weekly ‘Clap for our Carers ’at 8.00pm every Thursday evening!  You may already have a rainbow displayed in your window but this challenge invites you to get creative with other resources and natural materials to make a rainbow!  These are the beautiful fabric rainbows sewn by the children in school today.

  • Easter Holiday Challenge One

    Mon 06 Apr 2020

We invite you to create a set of Easter cards to send to family, friends and neighbours.  You might take inspiration from the cards made by our children in school today - their designs feature spring flowers, the 'rainbow of support', along with the 'rainbow cross' challenge launched by St. Peter's Church.
