Welcome to our Latest News page - a place for you to see how we are learning and living 'Life in all its Fullness' at St. Peter’s Church of England Junior School.
Our Year 5 children have been commissioned to build a bridge as part of their project: Do bridges develop or divide communities? A project requiring team work and problem solving - bringing children in school and at home together as a community as you will see in the picture below! We’ve been delighted with our online attendance!
Mrs Rowlandson is continuing to teach Religious Education across the school via zoom. This afternoon, we were delighted with the Year 6 zoom classroom attendance at the start of their RE unit: How is God Three and One? As part of their lesson, the children were invited to gather household items that demonstrate how one thing can also be three! A great bonus to home learning!
Just before Christmas, our children made beautiful gift bags filled with handmade items, which were delivered to those members of our community, alone at Christmas. We have received some lovely feedback:
“What a wonderful surprise to be given a Christmas goodie bag with such lovely handmade gifts. I was so thrilled and very touched by your kindness – a huge thank you”
“Many thanks for the beautiful cards and presents you gave us to celebrate Christmas. It was very thoughtful of you”.
