    Every afternoon, each year group joins together as community to share and celebrate their learning - uniting our children in school and at home. This afternoon, our Year 4 children had great fun sharing their Saxon shields! Great effort from everyone and such lovely enthusiasm! 
  • Bridge Building

    Our Year 5 children have been commissioned to build a bridge as part of their project: Do bridges develop or divide communities? A project requiring team work and problem solving - bringing children in school and at home together as a community as you will see in the picture below! We’ve been delighted with our online attendance! 

  • Learning in all its Fullness

    Mrs Rowlandson is continuing to teach Religious Education across the school via zoom. This afternoon, we were delighted with the Year 6 zoom classroom attendance at the start of their RE unit: How is God Three and One? As part of their lesson, the children were invited to gather household items that demonstrate how one thing can also be three! A great bonus to home learning! 

  • Celebration of Learning

    Today has been a wonderful example of our Value of Celebration! This afternoon, we were delighted to see so many children in our ‘Celebration of Leaning’ zoom classrooms. These events will take place every afternoon for children in each year group. A lovely opportunity for the children to gather together at the end of the day to share and celebrate their learning. Those in school and at home, together as a community.
  • ‘Learn to Live’

    Introducing our new way of ‘Learning and Living - Life in all its Fullness’! Lessons have started this morning for children in school and at at home. Great attendance in our zoom classrooms! Well done everyone - we are so proud of you all. 
  • Schools in Communities

    Just before Christmas, our children made beautiful gift bags filled with handmade items, which were delivered to those members of our community, alone at Christmas. We have received some lovely feedback:

     

    “What a wonderful surprise to be given a Christmas goodie bag with such lovely handmade gifts. I was so thrilled and very touched by your kindness – a huge thank you”

     

    “Many thanks for the beautiful cards and presents you gave us to celebrate Christmas. It was very thoughtful of you”.
